The owner of a Sanpan 2500 FE in Illinois is keeping his family cool on board this
summer with a Mist-er-Comfort misting system he installed himself in about two hours.WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA (USA) – A pontoon boat owner in Illinois is beating this summer’s record heat with a Mist-er-Comfort marine misting system he installed himself in about two hours.
The Mist-er-Comfort system has reduced temperatures on board as much as 25 degrees F, allowing John Bolletta and his family to use their Sanpan 2500 FE on Lake Decatur comfortably – even on the hottest days.
Bolletta chose Mist-er-Comfort’s #2004 series marine misting kit for the installation. The kit included everything he needed: a self-contained pump and tank; four misting heads; and mounting straps and tubing. He placed two misting heads on the rear bimini pole just behind the driver’s seat and placed the other two on the front bimini pole to cool down the his guests.
“It is very hot and humid on our lake from the end of June thru the beginning of September and my family and I absolutely love the Mist-er-Comfort misting system. It has been a huge hit with our friends, too,” Bolletta said. “The install was really easy to do. I was able to use an existing accessory switch on the dash to power the pump. With the tubing installed in the manner I did I'm able to fold the bimini top down in any position without affecting the misting system,” he added.
